Carrot Runs the New York Marathon, Cops Wait for Dashing Donut

It’s that time again where I swallow my pride, don some ridiculous outfit and make a fool of myself.   No, I’m not talking about the carrot suit I’m going to wear later this month running the Just for Kids 3k on April 25th.

I’m actually looking forward to that.

No, I’m putting on my fancy duds and singing with my jazz quartet, Junction68, for a fundraiser at Hartnell CollegeSandy, our alto, teaches over there and that’s where we rehearse, so our group thought it would be a nice way to thank them for their support.  I hope they think so too.

Junction68 Classic Jazz and more

If you’re around on Friday, April 24th at 7:30 or Saturday the 25th at 2:00 come on by. Tickets are cheap and you’ll get to hear a lot of great classic music (my solo is “I could write a book” and boy could I ever.)

Otherwise, cheer the kids on at 8 a.m. as they run their little legs off on Cannery Row.  I’ll be the one in orange.

See ya there!
